Pocket rod exercise

Students attending the FIS3200 Stream Habitat Measurement Techniques course at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's National Conservation Training Center, practice using a pocket rod at Sweet Run on the Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship, to ascertain height of geomorphic feature above stream water surface.
