Pairing Off Brood Channel Catfish at Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge, 1949

Two men each placing a fish (Catfish) on to a table with short raised side walls. Both men wear broadbrimmed hats. They are in a hatchery building, and a medium sized metal pail is just visible behind them. A number of hatchery tanks (with water spigots) can be seen in the background. The rear wall features windows, through which can be seen a line of trees in the distance.
