A segment of the new meandering channel of Fahys Creek constructed through the Smith Tract. Large woody debris and gravel was placed all along the new stream channel to diversify habitat and stream substrate. Piles of gravel were placed along the stream banks to serves as source material over the next decade. Image taken from USFWS Pacific Region Flickr page.
