In this document, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service provides recommendations regarding assessing roadway transportation structures for use by bats in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont (collectively, New England). This guidance can be used in association with the Northern Long-eared Bat and Tricolored Range-wide Determination Key in the Information for Planning and Consultation (IPaC) system.
