Nelius Nelson oral history interview as conducted by Kevin Kilcullen. Mr. Nelson had been teaching for ten years before he got a phone call from his high school science teacher asking him to go to Bismarck, North Dakota to do some biological work. Knowing that it would only be temporary, he decided to go. Mr. Nelson would work at several different refuges before retiring with over 30 years working for the Fish and Wildlife Service.
