Male wolf 1855 was born in the Dark Canyon pack in New Mexico in 2019. He was captured and radio collared in early 2020. He began dispersing from the Dark Canyon pack in November 2020. Since then, he has travelled widely and returned on and off again to his natal pack. To date he has not found a mate to start a new pack of his own.
