FWS biologists sampling for juvenile steelhead in Abernathy Creek. This field sampling is used to capture wild steelhead to implant PIT tags, recapture hatchery steelhead that may not have left the creek after their release from the hatchery (i.e. residualized) and to collect tissue sample for genetic analyses.
