The Greater Sage-Grouse shot was taken at Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge in Montana. The Greater Sage-Grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus) is a large, rounded-winged, ground-dwelling bird. It has a long, pointed tail with legs feathered to the base of the toes and fleshy yellow combs over the eyes.
