This image shows the native grassland habitat and forage (seeds) of the chestnut-bellied seed-finch (locally called ‘towa towa’) in the South Rupununi region of Guyana. In this particular grassland, chestnut-bellied seed-finches have been trapped extensively to support local livelihoods and are no longer abundant.
