Gopher tortoise survey

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service biologist Andrew Eastwick conducts a gopher tortoise survey on Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge in Florida. The Service continues to work proactively with state, local, and nonprofit partners to take steps to conserve these species in order to prevent the need for listing under the Endangered Species Act.
