During 2026, we completed the first five-year review of double-crested cormorant management as required under the 2020 Final Environmental Impact Statement. The report provides updated information on cormorant population status and trends, authorized and reported take, Potential Take Limits, the state of cormorant conflicts, and the need for continued management.
