Founder/Director of government contractor Wildlife Field Forensics and former Federal Wildlife Officer Carleen Gonder (right) instructs tribal game officers on determining time of death by examining decomposition stages. She does this by examining a decaying bull elk carcass. The bull elk was collected from roadkill by a government agency, then kept in a walk-in freezer in preparation for the training, then put at the training site two weeks before the class began.
