Elmer Parker (left background) and Heck Schrader of the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge are driving a hard of Bison into pens where certain of the animals will be selected for slaughter. Men must exercise caution when driving Bison because some of the bulls will turn and attempt to gore the horses. Parker was an expert rodeo performer who worked at the Refuge. October 1948
