Birding on Stone Lakes National Wildlife Refuge during a docent led hike open to the public.

Throughout the fall to spring, several special docent or staff led hikes are available to the public. On April 24, 2010, visitors took a short 2 mile hike to a wildlife viewing platform overlooking managed wetlands hosting various spring migrants such as hawks, shorebirds and songbirds.
