a bat with a transmitter

A female Myotis septentrionalis with a VFH transmitter attached on its back. MYSE are the target species of my research, and we will use the VFH to track this bat back to its day roost until the transmitter naturally falls off. All animals were handled following federal and state permitting protocols.
