Archaeology of Petroglyph Lake: landscapes, publics past, and publics present

This paper is a report of that archaeological work. It provides a description of the cultural resources of the site. explains the methodology used to record the petroglyph panels, includes digitized representations other petroglyphs and photographs of a few petroglyph panels and other archaeological features at the site. Petroglyph Lake lies in the middle of Ian Mountain National Antelope Refuge in southeastern Oregon. The lake is on the backslope of Poker Jim Ridge. a fault block formation rising abruptly from the well-watered Wamer Valley.
