20th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to CITES: Tentative U.S. Positions

The 20th regular meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP20) to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) takes place from November 25-December 5, 2025 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. This table shows the tentative U.S. negotiating positions, and reasons for these decisions, on proposed documents and other agenda items that have been submitted by other Parties, the permanent CITES committees, and the CITES Secretariat for consideration at CoP20.
