2024-02-29 Patriot Marine Settlement Agreement SRT

Patriot Marine, LLC has agreed to pay $100,000 in natural resource damages under the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (“Settlement”) to the Department of the Interior, acting by and through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Secretary of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, collectively the “Trustees”, for injuries to natural resources resulting from the release of oil from the M/V Ocean King into the waters of Great Harbor, Woods Hole, Massachusetts, in January 2018.
