The Morris Wetland Management District (District) is offering, to all eligible applicants, an opportunity to enter into a Cooperative Agricultural Agreement (CAA) to conduct conservation grazing on 22 Waterfowl Production Area (WPAs).

The Morris Wetland Management District (District) is offering, to all eligible applicants, an opportunity to enter into a Cooperative Agricultural Agreement (CAA) to conduct conservation grazing on 22 Waterfowl Production Area (WPAs). Conservation grazing will be used to manage the grassland habitat and improve conditionsfornestingwaterfowl.Informationregardingeachsitecanbefoundintheindividualunitgrazing plans and maps bycontactingWildlifeRefugeSpecialist,J.B.Brightat(320)287-0689orjb_bright@fws.gov.

Forthese22grazingopportunities,theprocessforpermitteeselectionwillbethetraditional cashrentby theanimalunitmonth(AUM).Inordertobeconsidered,applicantsmustreadand acceptthe Special Conditions, complete the bid form,and return the completed bid packet by the deadline shownbelow. Only one sealed bid application per cattle operation.

Ifselected,thesuccessful cooperatorwillprovide proofofinsurance,completea CustomerNumberRequest Form, and will be issued a Special Use Permit.
