Education Programs

We welcome groups of all sizes to the hatchery! Fall is a great time to bring school groups for a visit to see adult upriver bright fall Chinook salmon, view spawning operations, and better understand the role hatcheries play. Spring Chinook salmon return to the hatchery in the spring of the year and you can get an up-close look at them

in our underwater viewing room all summer. We have two outdoor viewing decks that make viewing salmon in the Little White Salmon river optimal. Please call the hatchery at 509-538-2755 to schedule a tour.
