Quick Guide for Drug Receipts

How to obtain an INAD

  1. Enroll in the INAD you would like to use

  2. Contact the drug supplier listed on the INAD fact page website to order the drug

  3. Enrolling in the INAD does not mean an INAD order has been placed

How to enter a new drug receipt

  1. Drug receipts need to be entered within 10 days of receipt

  2. Log in to your Investigator account

  3. Click on the Manage/View Drug Inventory tab

  4. Click on “Receipt of Drug” button

  5. Fill in all of the data fields

  6. Click on the “Add to Drug Inventory” button

  7. Do not add a new receipt of INAD to an existing drug receipt

How to transfer an INAD

  1. Make sure the other facility is an INAD participant

  2. Log in to your investigator account

  3. Click on the Manage/View Drug Inventory tab

  4. Find the inventory that you will transfer

  5. Click on the “Transfer” button

  6. Enter the data

  7. Click “Ok” to complete the transfer

  8. The receiving facility will then need to submit a new drug receipt once the INAD arrives.

How to discard INAD from inventory

  1. Be sure to follow the SDS found in the protocol for proper disposal methods

  2. Log in to your investigator account

  3. Click on the Manage/View Drug Inventory tab

  4. Find the inventory that you will transfer

  5. Click on the “Discard” button

  6. Enter the data

  7. Click “Ok” to complete the discard

Drug Receipt Discrepancies

If you have more inventory listed in the Chemical Use Log than there is physically on hand please do the following:

  1. Make a note of the event that caused the discrepancy and the date it occurred and retain this for your files
  2. Log in to your investigator account
  3. Click on the Manage/View Drug Inventory tab
  4. Find the inventory
  5. Follow the discard instructions

     

If you have less inventory in the Chemical Use Log than there is physically on hand please reach out to AADAP for guidance
