Hunting at San Diego National Wildlife Refuge is CLOSED for the 2023-2024 season.
The hunting area is open only for the hunt season and outside of the hunting season no public use is permitted in the Southern Otay Lakes hunt unit. Hunting is only allowed on the Southern Otay Lakes hunt unit and not allowed under any circumstance at the Sweetwater Interpretive Loop, Par 4, McGinty Mt., and Mother Miguel trail areas.

Las áreas de caza están abiertas solamente durante la temporada de cacería y no se permite ninguna otra actividad en la unidad del sur de Otay Lakes fuera de esa temporada.
