Ways to Get Involved

Volunteering opportunities are available. Please check with the office. We match volunteers with their interest and capabilities.

Volunteering

Our volunteers are individuals who want to give back to their communities: parents who want to be good stewards of the land and set examples for their children, retired people willing to share their wealth of knowledge, concerned citizens of all ages who want to learn more about conservation and passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to spread the word about America's greatest natural treasures. Please call or email to learn about future volunteer opportunities.

Our Partners

The mission of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is working with others to conserve, protect and enhance fish, wildlife, plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. In turn, we routinely collaborate with tribal, federal, state, provincial, local and non-profit groups to implement on-the-ground conservation projects that protect and enhance fish and other aquatic resources.

Outreach

Our field stations participate in a number of local community and educational events. Please contact the station if you are interested in attending one of our office’s special events or would like to request a guest speaker for an upcoming community or educational event.

Education Programs

Our youth program is educational and partnered with local schools and local educational groups. Events are hosted at the office, school or an off-site location.
