Newly hatched Loggerhead sea turtles

Volunteer helps inventory a nest of hatched turtles in order to determine productivity. These hatchlings were left in the nest and did not get out. They were taken to the water due to the heat of the day and to protect them from being spotted and eaten by sea gulls.
