Wildlife Trade and the National Eagle & Wildlife Repository with USFWS Education Specialist, Taliah Farnsworth

Join us for the next NCTC Conservation Lecture Series on Thursday, April 27 at 2:00 PM ET with USFWS Education Specialist, Taliah Farnsworth will discuss "Wildlife Trade and the National Eagle & Wildlife Repository".  This is an online rebroadcast from the live version held in the Entry Auditorium at the National Conservation Training Center on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

Operated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Office of Law Enforcement (OLE), the National Wildlife Property Repository is home to over one million confiscated wildlife products, ranging from traditional medicines to taxidermy, python boots to pangolin scales. These items hold a storied history of wildlife crime and protection, including the impact of the illegal wildlife trade on species and ecosystems, the continued demand for illegal wildlife products, and more. Learn about this unique facility and the work of OLE to combat wildlife trafficking, including by facilitating a legal wildlife trade worth billions each year and operating the one-of-a-kind National Eagle Repository.
