Join us for a beginner-friendly snowshoe adventure through the winter landscape. This free program is open to all ages, and both adult and child size snowshoes are available to borrow. Expect to start indoors with a short snowshoe lesson, then size your snowshoes before heading out for an easy, slow-paced guided walk with plenty of stops. This program will meet and end at the Oak Savanna Learning Center.
This program is held mostly outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather. In the event of inadequate snow levels or inclement weather, the event will be cancelled. Any cancellation notice will be communicated on the Friends Facebook Page and the refuge website.
