Join Refuge staff for a presentation on the importance of protecting dark skies and the often-overlooked impacts on both humans and wildlife caused by light pollution, with a focus on local issues (and local solutions!). This program is hosted by the Green Team of the First Religious Society Unitarian Universalist Newburyport, and will take place in the Lower Meetinghouse at 26 Pleasant Street. Registration is required, and a Zoom option is available.
The FRSUU Green Team will be holding a vegetarian potluck and social from 6-7pm, and the presentation will begin at 7pm. Attendance at the potluck is not required to attend the presentation- participants are welcome to arrive anytime before 7pm.
