Eagle Extravaganza

See eagles at Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge! Meet at Eagle Roost Trail. There will be guided bird walks and nest tours every 30 minutes. For both tours, signup at Eagle Roost Trail. Tours are free and first come first serve. Guided Bird Walk: View and hear a variety of birds on Eagle Roost Trail while walking to the photo blind. Binoculars are available to borrow. The trail is a natural path with minimal elevation. Nest Tour: Learn about the history of the refuge, eagles, and other wildlife with a driving tour of Harold F. Miller Auto Tour. As part of the tour, we will stop and view a bald eagle nest with a spotting scope and binoculars. To hear the tour, a vehicle with a radio is required.
