Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge, in partnership with the Friends of Sherburne and the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge Photography Club, invite you to participate in the 2024 Photography Contest! The Youth Contest will be for ages 6-15 and the Adult Contest is for ages 16 and up.
Submitted photos should aim to capture the beauty of the wildlife and scenery at Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge and should focus on landscapes or wildlife, with critters including birds, insects, mammals or reptiles.
All entries will be displayed at the Wildlife Festival on September 28th, where prizewinners will be announced.
RULES:
- Picture must be taken on the refuge, following all refuge regulations
- The image must be taken and edited by the participant
- No more than 3 entries per person
- Awarded one prize maximum per participant
- No watermarks or other identifying information
- Photos will not be returned
- Submissions must be received by or on September 9, 2024, late submissions will not be considered
SUBMISSIONS:
- Each entry is printed on 8" x 10" photo paper
- Include an entry form (copyright release agreement) for each entry
- Specify which contest you are submitting for on the entry form (Youth Contest: ages 6-15 ; Adult Contest: ages 16 and up)
- Mail or drop off photo and entry form by 4 pm on Monday, September 9, 2024
- Send a digital copy of the picture to sherburne@fws.gov
