U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Announces a Public Meeting on its Proposed Rule to List the Mountain Plover, a Grassland Bird, as a Threatened Species
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced today it will host a public meeting on its proposal to list the mountain plover as a threatened species pursuant to the Endangered Species Act. The meeting will take place on Thursday, January 23, 2003, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Southwest High School Performing Arts Theater in El Centro, California.
This meeting will provide the public with an opportunity to learn and comment about the Service
