Chase Lake Wetland Management District in Woodworth, North Dakota, has haying opportunities on 18 Waterfowl Production Areas (WPAs) in Stutsman and Wells Counties in central North Dakota. Hay units range in size from approximately 5 acres to 85 acres.
To receive application materials, you can pick them up at the office or request them by mail or email by contacting Jennifer Jewett at (701) 339-2335 or jennifer_jewett@fws.gov. The deadline for submitting sealed application packages is 1 p.m. CT on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. Sealed application packages must be mailed or hand-delivered to Chase Lake WMD, 5924 19th Street SE, Woodworth, ND 58496.
Cooperators will be selected through an open lottery process. Winning applicants will be notified of results by July 22, 2022.
