Carolina Sandhills National Wildlife Refuge in Chesterfield County, SC, has cooperative agriculture farming opportunities for up to 77 acres of farmable land for five years. Producers may farm and harvest up to 65 acres, with 12 acres left for the refuge. Crops including grain sorghum, millet, sunflowers, and wheat are allowed. However, GMO crops and neonicotinoid seed treatments are not allowed.

The cooperators will be selected through an open and competitive process. All applicants will be notified by March 15, 2023.
