Recommendation Letter - Sport Fishing and Boating Partnership Council May 2015

This letter to the Secretary of the Interior and the chair of the Federal Interagency Council on Outdoor Recreation (FICOR) provides the Council’s policy and program recommendations regarding federal agencies’ permitting processes.  The letter conveys specific recommendations to: 1) increase the transparency of the permitting process, 2) expand utilization of state and nationwide permits, 3) share science and technology within and between agencies, and 4) requests additional funding for resources to expedite permit reviews.
