Histopathologist Clarence E. "Ed" Dunbar examining a Brook Trout for the presence of granuloma, National Fisheries Center-Leetown, West Virginia, circa 1960s. Dunbar began working at the National Fisheries Center in the early 1950s, first as Fish Culturalist, and then as a Histopathologist. He passed away in early 1969. He was considered by colleagues as an authority in his field.
Note: The National Fisheries Center was transferred to the U.S. Geological Survey in 1995, and is now know as the Eastern Ecological Science Center.
