Big Oaks Conservation Society (BOCS) and Big Oaks National Wildlife Refuge annually host an Outdoor Women at Big Oaks event just for women. The event is one day and gives women age 12 and older the opportunity to gain valuable in-the-field skills and knowledge in an environment that encourages fun and success in the outdoors. This exciting program will target women of all ages who want to learn outdoor sills through courses addressing such topics as fly fishing, kayaking, canoeing, bird watching, archery, shooting, and much more! All acitivities begin and end at the beautiful and historic Old Timbers Lodge. The event is organized by women for women who want to expand their outdoor skills in a fun, supportive environment.
