Modoc National Wildlife Refuge is hosting a fall world migratory bird day event on October 11, 2025. This event will take place from 10am to 3pm at Modoc NWR, along the auto-tour route. There will be three stations along the route. Each will have fascinating information to learn and a fun activity to do. If the weather is bad, the stations will all be located near the visitors center. Please come join us for a fun day of environmental excitement. The topics include insect and migratory bird interactions, wetlands and wetland management, and hunting and conservation. The activities include our BirdSleuth Explorer's Guidebook, migratory bird trivia, and bird mask making. You can even get added to our Bird Buddy Hall of Fame!
