For countless generations, the Upper Tanana Valley at the east central edge of Alaska has served as a natural travel corridor. A corridor for wildlife and the nomadic tribes that hunted them for fur traders and gold seekers, and for World War II road builders who connected Alaska to the rest of the continent via the Alaska Highway. Today, adventurous travelers like you, travel their corridor along the edge of Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge.
