A Motorboat and Airboat Safety Training was held at the Upper Souris National Wildlife Refuge in North Dakota. Students received classroom training as well as field training in the use of personal flotation devices (PFDs), various motorized boats, trailers, and airboats. Students had to pass both a written exam and a practical exam where both safety and slikks were demonstrated while running set up courses.
