Convention on Wetlands of International Importance Especially as Waterfowl Habitat, The Ramsar Convention, ratified by over 90 nations, promotes the sustainable management of important wetlands around the world, especially as habitat for waterfowl. The Service's objective with this initiative is to strengthen worldwide collaboration regarding conservation and management of wetlands habitats which sustain resources stared by or of importance to all countries of the globe.
