Federal Duck Stamp Art Contest Watch Party - Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge

Join us at the Refuge Visitor Center as we tune in to the livestream of the 2023 Federal Duck Stamp Art Contest! Each year, artists from across the nation enter their waterfowl works into this contest in hope of becoming the next Duck Stamp. These stamps are vital tools for wetland conservation as 98 cents out of every dollar spent on the stamp goes directly towards wetland habitat conservation. Since its inception in 1934, sales of the Duck Stamp have generated over $1.2 billion that has conserved more than 6 million acres of wetland habitat for birds and other wildlife!

The contest runs on September 15 and 16 starting at 11am and running until around 1pm each day. To learn more about the contest, please visit www.fws.gov/program/federal-duck-stamp/federal-duck-stamp-contest-event-information.
