About Wendy Loya

Wendy Loya is the Assistant Regional Director for Science, International Conservation and Migratory Bird Management for the US Fish and Wildlife Service in Alaska.  In that role, she serves as a liaison between FWS programs, partners, and the FWS’s regional leadership team to help address issues of common interest and concern.  Her work includes collaborative conservation, including co-management with Tribal partners, and leading strategic science planning.
