International Conservation Chiefs Academy

The International Conservation Chiefs Academy (ICCA) brings together 40 leaders of conservation law enforcement agencies from around the world to build collaborative capacity between international conservation law enforcement agencies. Funding for the ICCA is provided by the Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics & Law Enforcement Affairs (INL). The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Assistant Director, Office of Law Enforcement hosts the ICCA at the National Conservation Training Center (NCTC), Shepherdstown, West Virginia. The National Association of Conservation Law Enforcement Chiefs (NACLEC) in conjunction with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Office of Law Enforcement provides the instruction and facilitates participation. The ICCA was initially designed and continues to expand in direct support of the National Strategy for Combating Wildlife Trafficking.
