About this Collection
A collection of historic images from The National Conservation Training Center's Museum and Archives.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service houses over 100,000 historic photos, slides, and negatives that our staff have been scanning to add to our digital library. These images help illustrate more than 150 years of USFWS history. Images have been selected that depict the changing human interactions with the natural world, whether it be Service biologists conducting research in the field or visitors to a National Wildlife Refuge engaging in recreation activities such as bird watching.
