Green River National Wildlife Refuge near Henderson, Kentucky, has a cooperative farming opportunity on one unit, approximately 53.5 acres in Henderson County. The opportunity is for exclusive rights to produce and harvest crops consisting of corn, soybeans, wheat, milo or millet on the remaining 75% of the acres in exchange for producing grain crops for the benefit of wildlife on approximately 25% of the acres. GMO crop seed is allowed. Neonicotinoid seed treatments are not allowed.

All applications must be received in the Clarks River National Wildlife Refuge office by December 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. The cooperator will be selected through an open and competitive process. All applicants will be notified by January 5, 2023.
