Social Impact Assessment for International Conservation

This Social Impact Assessment applies to all Notices of Funding Opportunity issued by our International Affairs program. Projects selected for funding that include any activities with potential risks to Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities will be required to submit answers to the Social Impact Assessment (SIA). The SIA is a series of questions where partners can demonstrate any social safeguard measures they have developed to mitigate risks of gross human rights violations or abuses of power.
