General Information

San Pablo Bay National Wildlife Refuge lies along the north shore of the bay. It includes open bay/tidal marsh, mud flats, and seasonal and managed wetland habitats. Fishing is permitted in accordance with state and federal regulations from sunrise to sunset in the open waters of San Pablo Bay and navigable sloughs, the Cullinan Ranch Unit, and the Dickson Ranch Unit. Access to the bay or sloughs is allowed from designated boat launch sites only. Only non-motorized craft are allowed at the Cullinan Ranch Unit and the Dickson Ranch Unit. Fishing is allowed only with pole and line or rod and reel. Bow fishing and gigging are prohibited.
