Available species include crappie, bluegill, largemouth bass, and catfish. Dale Bumpers White River NWR contains approximately 300 recognizable bodies of water that total over 10,000 acres. Included in this total are over 200 oxbow lakes and permanent beaver ponds. The remaining bodies of water include numerous bayous, creeks, intermittent streams, and the White River.
