Guam International Coastal Clean-up: Ritidian Site

The Guam National Wildlife Refuge at Ritidian will be one of numerous sites part of the Guam International Coastal Clean-up. Pick up any trash and marine debris while walking along the scenic beach/trail and collect data on the type of marine debris found at our site through the Clean Swell App.

Gloves, trash bags, buckets, and a limited number of trash grabbers are provided. Participants must complete a waiver of liability form to participate. All participants under 18 must have their parent/guardian sign consent to participate. This activity counts as service learning.

Volunteers can expect full exposure to sun/rain with no shade and walking approximately one and a half miles total. Volunteers must bring water (at least 16 oz), wear shoes and sun protection (reef-safe sunblock, hat & sunglasses are highly recommended).

IMPORTANT NOTE: No indoor restrooms or showers; porta potties available. Bring your own water for rinsing. All volunteers should wear shoes, bring a water bottle, and sun protection (hat, sunglasses recommended).
