Proposed Designation of Critical Habitat for the San Diego Fairy Shrimp

We, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), propose designation of critical habitat for the San Diego fairy shrimp (Branchinecta sandiegonensis), pursuant to the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (Act). We propose designation of critical habitat within an approximately 14,771-hectare (36,501-acre) area for the San Diego fairy shrimp in San Diego and Orange Counties.
