Blue Heron Trail at Stone Lakes National Wildlife Refuge

This trail was built with funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act in 2010. Currently, public access is limited to scheduled guided tours. The Refuge is working on providing regular public access at the headquarters unit Blue Heron Trails which is scheduled to open late fall 2011.
